Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out my site. I am creating this site in order to help others with some of the confusing and frustrating aspects of developing and implementing a smart home. It doesn't have to be difficult or overwhelming. You want smart home technology to make your life easier with convenience not frustrating.

My experience.

I have been using smart home technology for years now. I have developed a good sense of the do's and don'ts from my experiences. As I look back on my beginnings of creating my smart home, there are several things I would definitely have done different. I hope to be able to provide some good information and helpful tips. I have definitely made some mistakes along the way and hope to be able to help you avoid the pitfalls.

What are my options?

With so many smart device options available it can be very confusing and a little overwhelming. I hope to be able to provide some good insight with very easy to understand and follow information. There are smart switches, smart bulbs, smart plugs plus a whole lot more. I would suggest doing a little planning and preparation then you can start implementing. I suggest starting simple with some smart bulbs and smart switches, then expand from there.

I will provide some of my recommendations on what to buy, where to put it and ideas on using them with custom automations.
