Is MyQ Smart Video Keypad WORTH IT? (1 Year Later)

In this blog post, I'm going to share my experience with the MyQ Smart Video Keypad after using it for one year. Overall, I've been very happy with it. It's easy to set up and use, and it has given me a lot of peace of mind.

Pros:

• Easy to set up and use
• Reliable performance
• Long battery life (between 60 and 90 days)
• High-quality video
• Remote access
• Ability to assign PIN codes to family members, friends, and service providers
• Integrates with Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery
• Works with MyQ smart lock to automatically lock your door when your garage door closes

Cons:

• There is a small screw on the bottom of the housing that you need to remove in order to change the battery. This screw is easy to lose.
• The camera's wireless antenna may not be very strong, which could lead to battery drain.

My myQ Smart Video Keypad Recommendation:

Overall, I would definitely recommend the myQ Smart Video Keypad. It's a great way to add security and convenience to your home. However, if you're concerned about battery life, you may want to consider getting a spare battery.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:

• You will need a MyQ Chamberlain Hub in order to use the remote access features.
• The MyQ Smart Garage Door Keypad is currently on sale for $60 on Amazon. The battery is also on sale for $30.
